Took my OV out of the box and flashed this so I could re-purpose it as an MP3 player so I don't always have to use my EVO V.  Had to flash twice because I had the home button issue, but otherwise it seems to work great.

But I do have a dumb question. How do I access the SD card using USB? I can't find it in the menus, and after not using it for 9 months I don't remember where it was.

Plug it in, pull down the statusbar, and change it from charge to drive.

That's what I was expecting as well, but that option never shows up for me.  That's why I was wondering if there is a setting I need to change.

Try a different cable or port.

Actually now that I am looking at the forum a little more closely, I know what part of the issue may be.  I flashed this on an Optimus V  So everyone now knows this ROM kind of sorta works on the Optimus V.


EDIT- Scratch that.  I just posted this in the wrong forum.  I did download the correct OV ROM

I will try a couple different cables and see what happens.

I noticed that, but thought maybe you just mis-typed, Harmonia has kind of branched out a bit. LOL
Hopefully, all will be well once you get the right rom.
